It’s about making them look the way they naturally look under the best possible conditions.įor this tutorial, we’ll be using a photo by photographer Michael Miller that was purposefully shot with harsh, direct midday lighting to show an example of what happens to a model when photographed under these conditions. Hold the Alt key (to split the slider in 2) and drag the black slider of the "Underlaying Layer" until you reach a value where that shining area is smoother, which in this case is a value of 155.
